Most of our carousel figures are branded with Made By Looff, Riverside, R.I. on their undersides. This is useful in dating the Looff figures, as this brand wasn't used on the figures until 1905, and the factory moved from Rhode Island to California in the early 1910's.
For many of our figures, this brand had long-since been covered over with filler, and was uncovered during one of the restorations.
