Courtney, Danielle and Kelsey watch as Bette demonstrates the open-box construction that is typical in hand-carved carrousel figures. Our demonstrator horse was carved in the Looff style, and serves as a very good example of the construction techniques used to make our Looff horses in 1909.

The center supports of our carrousel are visible in this picture because the center panels have been removed for maintenance.
