The Natatorium Park Carousel
Before Spokane's Looff carousel was added to Natatorium Park, a Parker carousel
operated there. There are no known pictures of this carousel.
Liberty Lake, Washington
This Herschell-Spillman carousel was built around 1913, and originally operated
at the Barbary Coast in San Francisco, California.
It was moved to Washington where it operated at
Liberty Lake Park from 1923 through the mid-1950s. After spending many
years in storage, it was purchased in 1973 by the Henry Ford museum.
The carousel was restored and put back into operation at Greenfield Village
in Dearborn, Michigan, where it still operates today! A set of pictures of
this carousel taken in 2006 can be seen Here.

Latton's Kiddie Land, Spokane, WA
This Allan Herschell carousel was one of the rides at Latton's Kiddie Land, located on the corner of
North Division and Euclid streets in Spokane. It
operated there from around 1948 to the late 1970s or early 1980s. Following that, it operated for one
year near a bowling alley on Division street before being taken out of service.
The Latton family purchased this carousel directly from the Allan Herschell factory in
North Tonawanda, New York.
