Meet Billy Bob!

With the head and legs removed, the rest of the goat is checked for loose joints. Where necessary, the joints will be cleaned out and re-glued.

Some sanding has been done to prepare the existing finish for re-coating. The tassels behind the blanket (which weren't part of the original goat) have been removed.

The stirrups and reins have been removed, and won't be replaced. Spokane has chosen not to use these parts on any of their animals because they cause damage to the animals. Instead, our stirrups are part of the pole underneath each animal, and the riders grip the poles instead of the reins.
