When Snow Dancer was scheduled to come out as a limited edition miniature carousel reproduction, she didn't have a classy name. This was during the winter of 95-96 when we had record snows. Since her leg positions make her look like she's dancing, she received the name Snow Dancer. She is a rare one, carved with a closed mouth. Looff was the only carver who made these sweet faced horses. He also disliked horses that had tongues hanging, as he said that they frightened the children.
