This horse is named after the Looff Carousel on which he's ridden for so many years. He received his name from L.R. Montgomery, who did some limited edition prints of LoofFun as well as several of our other horses. (His prints are available on his website, at lrmontgomery.com)

This horse was Geri Sperling's favorite horse. (Geri Sperling was Vogel's stepdaughter.)

During a restoration in 1992, it was found that this horse was originally a bay (a dark-brown horse with a black tail). He was restored to that color, but nobody wanted to ride him. So he was changed back to a Chocolate pinto and now gets his share of riders. (It was a common practice to change colors to attract riders, and to match current styles.)
